A massive Thank You to Nicole Miller (https://exploreyourcoast.co.nz/) for an amazing evening on the 19th July.
Nicole has shared her insightful and inspiring documentary, showing the damage Kina can make basically erasing Seaweed population around Wellington Harbour. This has a massive impact on the ecosystem, and we can all help to restore and protect the underwater-layer of our playground, and with it its diversity.
We also got a few tasters of Paul’s delicious Seaweed Miso soup, and Nicole’s Kina sushi, scrambled eggs with Kina and Kina-Pasta – my favourite.
Nicole also brought some of her beautiful art with her, and many pieces made their way home with some of you.
What can we all do to help
There are many ways to contribute, such as supporting promotion, events, donations, snorkel or dive-related activities and more.
